Important Notes on Your Gulmarg Day
In Gulmarg, local union rules apply for transportation.

  • Winter Snow Access: During peak snow, our vehicle goes up to Tanmarg only. A mandatory local chain vehicle will take you to Gulmarg (approx. ₹1000-₹1600 per vehicle, shared by 4-6 people).

  • Gondola Area Transfer: From the parking area, it's a 1 km walk to the Gondola counter. You can also opt for a pony (approx. ₹300-₹500) or ATV (approx. ₹1500-₹2000).

  • Gulmarg Guide Charges: ₹1000 per group.

Tip: If you want to do both phases, you must purchase a combined ticket. Phase 2 operates subject to weather conditions, especially in winter.

Each garden charges a nominal entry fee, payable in cash at the gate. Keeping small change handy is a good idea.

  • Services of a government-licensed tour guide inside monuments (your driver-guide handles everything else).

  • Any skiing resort expenses, if availed.

Standard Local Transport Requirements

  • In Gulmarg, as per local union rules, our vehicle will drop you at the designated parking area. From there, you'll need to take a local union vehicle or pony/ATV to reach the Gondola base. This small direct payment ensures compliance and a smooth experience.

  • During heavy snow, a chained vehicle is mandatory for safety from Tanmarg to Gulmarg. This cost is payable directly and is typically shared by passengers.

  • A 5% GST levy on the total package cost.

  • Any costs arising from events beyond our control, such as extreme weather, political unrest, or natural calamities.
