Itinerary

Day 01 – Arrival | Welcome to the Emerald Isle | Airport ➝ Kandy (Approx. 120KM / 4Hrs)

Your Sri Lankan journey begins the moment you touch down at Bandaranaike International Airport, where a warm island welcome awaits. Our courteous representative will greet you with a smile and lead you to your private vehicle.

En route to the hill capital of Kandy, pause to visit the world-renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Watch in awe as herds of gentle giants bathe in the river or feed from the hands of loving caretakers. A stop at a spice garden offers a fragrant introduction to Sri Lanka’s rich culinary heritage.

As you ascend into the hills, Kandy reveals itself like a gem nestled in emerald-green mountains. Check in to your hotel and relax amidst the serene surroundings.

Day 02 – Kandy | Culture, Nature & Heritage

Begin your day with a delicious local breakfast, before diving into the charm of Kandy—a city steeped in regal splendor and spiritual significance.

Your guided tour begins at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), a revered pilgrimage site that houses a tooth of Lord Buddha. Continue to the Royal Botanical Gardens, a floral paradise spread across 147 acres, adorned with over 4,000 species of plants.

Explore the Silk & Batik Factory and Gem Museum—perfect places to see skilled artisans at work. Absorb panoramic views from Kandy View Point and find peace at Bahirawakanda Viharaya, home to a towering Buddha statue.

As evening falls, immerse yourself in the rhythm of Sri Lanka through a vibrant Cultural Dance Show.

Day 03 – Kandy ➝ Bentota | Scenic Drive to the Coast (Approx. 190KM / 6Hrs)

After breakfast, leave behind the cool hills of Kandy and journey southwards through lush countryside and quaint villages, towards the golden sands of Bentota.

On arrival, check into your beachfront hotel and spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Let the salty breeze and sound of crashing waves lull you into relaxation.

Day 04 – Bentota | Beach Bliss & River Adventures

Wake up to the melody of ocean waves and start your day with a beachside breakfast. Today is all about sun, sand, and sea.

Your coastal adventure begins at the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, where endangered sea turtles are nurtured and released back into the ocean. Then, drift through the serene waters of the Madu River on a boat safari, winding through mangroves and spotting exotic birds, monkeys, and tiny river islands.

For thrill-seekers, Bentota offers an array of water sports—from jet skiing to windsurfing, and everything in between.

Day 05 – Bentota ➝ Colombo | Urban Flavors of Sri Lanka (Approx. 65KM / 1Hr 30Mins)

Post breakfast, travel to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s cosmopolitan capital that fuses colonial charm with modern vibrancy.

Wander through the historic Fort district, visit the awe-inspiring Colombo National Museum, and soak in the architectural grandeur of the Independence Square, Town Hall, and BMICH. Witness spiritual harmony as you visit a Hindu temple, Gangaramaya Buddhist temple, and the vibrant Jami Ul Alfar Mosque.

Wrap up your city tour with a drive past Galle Face Green and take in a spectacular sunset by the sea.

Day 06 – Departure | Farewell, Sri Lanka! (Approx. 35KM / 45Mins)

After breakfast, bid a fond goodbye to Sri Lanka. With hearts full of memories and suitcases full of stories, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
