Day 1 – “Whispers of Arrival: Tbilisi’s First Embrace”
Welcome to Tbilisi, the beating heart of Georgia, where modern life hums alongside echoes of an ancient world. Upon arrival, feel the city’s warmth in every cobblestone and curve. In the golden hour, make your way to the Chronicles of Georgia, a majestic monument perched above Tbilisi Sea—its towering pillars narrating stories of kings, saints, and legends. Let the bronze figures and the breeze of the Caucasus welcome you to a land where history breathes.
Day 2 – “Between Crossroads and Cathedrals: Jvari & Mtskheta”
The day begins at 09:00 from our Tbilisi office. Your journey unfolds in Mtskheta, Georgia’s spiritual cradle, where the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral rises with grace—a UNESCO World Heritage site that has seen centuries of prayers and coronations.
High above, the Jvari Monastery awaits, standing at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi Rivers, offering one of the most breathtaking panoramas in the country.
After a traditional Georgian lunch, return to Old Tbilisi for a walking tour: Metekhi Church, Europe Square, Bridge of Peace, and a scenic cable car ride to Narikala Fortress. Wander past Legvtakhevi Waterfall and the Sulphur Baths, where legends say the city was born.
Return by 18:00, your heart full of centuries-old whispers.
Day 3 – “Road to the Heavens: Gudauri & Kazbegi”
Depart at 09:00 for the grand Georgian Military Highway.
Your first stop: the Zhinvali Reservoir, a turquoise mirror cradled by mountains, where artisans sell handmade souvenirs. Then explore the Ananuri Fortress, a relic of medieval might beside the water’s edge.
Further north, witness the dramatic confluence of the Black and White Aragvi Rivers—a natural metaphor of Georgia’s harmony.
At Gudauri Ski Resort, soar above snow-capped peaks or pause for a paragliding adventure. Weather permitting, ascend to the awe-inspiring Gergeti Trinity Church, standing beneath Mount Kazbek, veiled in clouds and myth.
By evening, return to Tbilisi, carrying the scent of alpine winds and freedom.
Day 4 – “Kingdoms of Stone: Borjomi, Rabati & Vardzia”
Depart at 08:00 for a journey into Georgia’s soul. Begin at Borjomi Central Park, sipping the famed mineral waters that bubble from the earth. Continue to Rabati Castle in Akhaltsikhe, a fortress of stone and stories, where medieval walls still echo with the steps of knights and merchants.
After lunch, descend into the surreal Vardzia Cave City, carved into the cliffside—a hidden monastery complex where monks once sought refuge.
As the sun sets, travel back through Surami, arriving in Tbilisi by 22:00, your spirit alight with wonder.
Day 5 – “Echoes of Empires: Gori & Uplistsikhe”
Begin at 11:30 from Tbilisi, heading toward the ancient cave city of Uplistsikhe, a labyrinth of rock-hewn halls and pagan altars from the 1st millennium BC.
After a local lunch, explore Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin, and visit his house-museum. Pause at the Memorial of Georgian War Heroes before ending your day atop Gori Fortress, gazing over the town’s rooftops.
Return to Tbilisi by evening, as the sun dips over the Kartli plains.
Day 6 – “Road to the West: Tbilisi to Kutaisi”
A day of scenic travel westward across Georgia’s heartlands—from the busy boulevards of Tbilisi to the calm charm of Kutaisi, the land of legends and golden fleece.
Day 7 – “Monasteries of Light: Bagrati, Gelati & Motsameta”
At 09:00, ascend to the Bagrati Cathedral, a symbol of unity built in the 11th century. Next, explore the grand Gelati Monastery, founded by King David the Builder, home to vibrant frescoes and a spirit of scholarship.
Conclude at Motsameta Monastery, clinging to cliffs above a winding river, where the souls of martyrs and monks rest in eternal peace.
Return to Kutaisi by 12:00, your heart steeped in reverence.
(Note: During renovations, Gelati is replaced with visits to Khareba and Mtsvanekvavila temples.)
Day 8 – “Wine & Whispers: Baia’s Vineyard Feast”
At 13:00, journey to Baia’s Wine, a family-run vineyard in Obcha village. Sisters Baia and Gvantsa welcome you with open hearts and stories of the land. Stroll through their vines, taste golden Tsolikouri and ruby Ojaleshi, and savor the warmth of homemade Imeretian cuisine prepared by their mother.
Return to Kutaisi by 17:00, blissfully filled with wine, laughter, and the essence of Georgian hospitality.
Day 9 – “Seaside Serenity: Kutaisi to Batumi”
Drive toward the Black Sea coast, arriving in Batumi, where mountains kiss the waves. In the evening, wander along the Boulevard and watch Ali & Nino, the moving statue of love, twirl eternally under the stars.
Day 10 – “Whispers of the Forest: Mtirala National Park”
Depart 14:00 from Batumi to the lush Mtirala National Park, Georgia’s emerald rainforest. Cross the river by a handmade cable car, then hike through moss-draped trees toward cascading waterfalls. Those brave enough may bathe in its crystal waters.
Children (and the young at heart) delight in the park’s rope attractions before returning to Batumi by 18:00—refreshed, renewed, and alive.
Note: Moderate fitness required.
Day 11 – “Songs of the Mountains: Best of Batumi”
At 10:30, venture into Adjara’s highlands, where emerald valleys cradle ancient bridges and roaring waterfalls. Visit the Adjaristskali Reservoir, the majestic Makhuntseti Waterfall, and the 14th-century Bridge of Queen Tamar.
Cross to Mirveti Waterfall, a gem reached through a hanging bridge and village path.
End with a feast in the Matchakhela Valley, hosted by locals who share their homemade wine and folk songs—a true Georgian celebration of life.
Return to Batumi by 17:00, your soul humming with melody.
Day 12 – “Caves of Wonder: Martvili & Prometheus”
At 09:00, set forth from Batumi through the mystical Martvili Canyon, gliding beneath waterfalls in a boat. After lunch in Sweet Village, explore the vast Prometheus Cave, its chambers lit like starlight beneath the earth.
Return to Batumi by 22:00, carrying stories from the underworld and the song of rivers.
Day 13 – “Across Horizons: Batumi to Tbilisi”
Return to the capital, where old friends—the Narikala Fortress and Peace Bridge—await your final farewell.
