Day 3: 20 Jul | 24 Aug The Sacred Darshan at the Lake of the Guru & the Lachung Embrace

Route: Lachen - Gurudongmar Lake - Lachung

As first light breaks over the barren, moon-like landscape, you arrive at Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft). The feeling is indescribable: one corner of this sacred, crystal-clear, turquoise water miraculously never freezes, a blessing believed to be from Guru Padmasambhava himself. Day 4: 21 Jul | 25 Aug Through the Valley of Flowers into Gangtok's Vibrant Heart
