Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City & Afternoon Excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels

Your adventure begins as you touch down in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s most dynamic metropolis. After a moment to settle in, embark on a thought-provoking journey just 60 kilometers away — the Cu Chi Tunnels.

As you drive through emerald-green rice paddies and rustic villages, imagine life in rural Vietnam. Upon arrival, watch a fascinating documentary that transports you back in time. Then, step into history as you crawl through sections of the tunnels — once a vital lifeline during the Vietnam War. See makeshift kitchens, hospitals, and living quarters hidden deep underground. Discover ingenious wartime traps and survival strategies, and if you wish, try your hand at firing authentic wartime rifles in a safe environment.

By evening, return to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving around 7:00 PM with stories etched deeply in memory.

Day 2: Into the Heart of the Mekong Delta – My Tho & Ben Tre

Awaken to a day of discovery. Between 7:00 – 8:00 AM, your guide will whisk you away toward the Mekong Delta — a two-hour journey through lush fields and sleepy hamlets.

Arrive in My Tho, where your adventure begins aboard a traditional motorboat gliding past Dragon, Phoenix, and Turtle Islands. Step ashore at Unicorn Island to visit a local beekeeping farm, savor honey teas, and sample rice and banana wines. Stroll through coconut groves before gently rowing along the enchanting coconut canals, shaded by towering palms.

Continue deeper into Ben Tre, where sweet scents of handmade coconut candy fill the air. Visit a riverside eatery for a feast of traditional Mekong delicacies, before delighting in tropical fruits accompanied by folk music. By late afternoon, return to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving by 5:00 PM.

In the evening, stroll through Ben Thanh Market (before it closes at 8 PM) to experience the city’s lively heart. If it’s the weekend, lose yourself in the neon glow and vibrant nightlife of Bui Vien Walking Street.

Day 3: Mui Ne Day Trip & Sunset Tour

Set off for a coastal escape as you board a comfortable sleeper bus for the 2-hour 45-minute journey to Mui Ne, famed for its otherworldly sandscapes.

  • 12:45 PM: Depart from Ho Chi Minh City.

  • 1:15 PM: Arrive at the whimsical Fairy Stream (Suoi Tien) — where ankle-deep waters carve pathways through surreal sand formations in hues of red, white, and gold.

  • 2:45 PM: Visit the fishing village, capturing scenes of brightly painted boats bobbing on turquoise waters.

  • 3:45 PM: Marvel at the vast White Sand Dunes, where you can choose to ride an ATV or jeep across desert-like expanses.

  • 5:00 PM: Move on to the Red Sand Dunes, perfectly timed for a breathtaking sunset — the fiery sky casting magical reflections across the scarlet sands.

  • 6:30 PM: Enjoy a local dinner before boarding your bus back to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving around 10:00 PM.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh to Da Nang – Marble Mountains & Hoi An Evening Stroll

Fly north to Da Nang, a coastal city where mountains meet the sea. Visit the mystical Marble Mountains, a cluster of five limestone hills dotted with ancient pagodas, hidden caves, and panoramic viewpoints.

By evening, journey to Hoi An, a lantern-lit town that feels frozen in time. Wander along narrow streets, admire wooden shop-houses, and soak in the romantic glow of paper lanterns reflecting on the Thu Bon River.

Day 5: A Day at Ba Na Hills

Today, ascend to the cool highlands of Ba Na Hills, where fantasy meets reality. Ride the world-renowned Golden Bridge held by giant stone hands, explore European-style villages, and revel in sweeping mountain views. Enjoy the day at your own pace — whether strolling through flower gardens or indulging in local delights.

Day 6: Arrival in Hanoi & Villages Tour with Home-Cooked Lunch

Fly to Hanoi, Vietnam’s cultural heart. Today, escape the city’s buzz with a private full-day village tour:

  • Visit an incense-making village, where vivid bundles of red and yellow sticks line the streets.

  • Continue to a conical hat village, crafting your very own traditional “nón lá” to take home.

  • Share a delicious home-cooked lunch with local artisans, savoring authentic northern flavors.

  • Explore a lacquer village, witnessing the artistry behind intricate designs and trying your hand at painting.

Optional drop-off at the famous Hanoi Train Street, where cafés hug the tracks and trains pass within arm’s reach.

Day 7: Bai Dinh – Trang An – Mua Cave Excursion

Board a limousine shuttle to Ninh Binh, often called “Ha Long Bay on land.”

  • Morning: Visit the magnificent Bai Dinh Pagoda Complex, home to giant Buddha statues and Asia’s longest corridor of Arhats.

  • Afternoon: Cruise the emerald waters of Trang An by sampan boat, drifting through caves and limestone valleys.

  • Late Afternoon: Climb Mua Cave Peak for panoramic views of rice fields and karst mountains — one of Vietnam’s most iconic vistas.

Return to Hanoi in the evening, filled with awe and serenity.

Day 8: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay Cruise

Journey east to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage marvel. Board your luxury cruise, sip a welcome drink, and settle in as limestone pillars rise dramatically from jade waters.

  • Afternoon: Savor a gourmet lunch before choosing between kayaking into Dark & Bright Cave or exploring the pristine lagoons of Ba Trai Dao.

  • Evening: Witness a golden sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin, join a fun cooking class, or simply unwind on deck. After dinner, enjoy squid fishing, a movie night, or cocktails under the stars.

Day 9: Lan Ha Bay – Ha Long Bay – Return to Hanoi

Begin your day with Tai Chi at sunrise on the sundeck. After a light breakfast, choose between:

  • Kayaking in Ao Ech, paddling through hidden lagoons.

  • Or a visit to Quan Y Cave on Cat Ba Island, a fascinating wartime hospital.

Brunch is served as your cruise sails back to port. Disembark at Tuan Chau Wharf and return to Hanoi by afternoon.

Day 10: Free Day in Hanoi

Enjoy Hanoi at your own pace. Stroll through the Old Quarter, shop for silk, handicrafts, and souvenirs, or sip egg coffee by Hoan Kiem Lake. Visit the city’s historic temples, art galleries, or simply relax and soak up the vibrant atmosphere.
