Day 01 – 22 Dec: Arrive Bagdogra → Phuentsholing / Jaigaon
Distance: 160 km | Travel Time: ~4 hrs | Altitude: 293m
Your arrival into Bagdogra Airport will treat you to scenic views of the Himalayan ranges on a clear day. Meet your tour representative and drive to the Indo-Bhutan border town Phuentsholing/Jaigaon.

Day 02 – 23 Dec: Phuentsholing → Thimphu
Distance: 165 km | Travel Time: 5–6 hrs | Altitude: 2,334m
After breakfast, immigration formalities will be done before entering Bhutan. Later, enjoy a scenic drive to Bhutan’s charming capital — Thimphu.
En-route sights include:
- Gedu town (forest views & waterfalls)
- Chukha Dam viewpoint
- River confluence at Chuzom Bridge
Check in at hotel & relax.
Evening free for a gentle stroll in Thimphu city.

Day 03 – 24 Dec: Thimphu → Punakha → Thimphu (Day Excursion)
Begin your day with a beautiful drive via DochuLa Pass (3,088m) offering 360° Himalayan views (weather-permitting).
In Punakha:
- Punakha Dzong – “Palace of Great Happiness” at the meeting of Pho-Chu & Mo-Chu rivers
- Punakha Suspension Bridge – one of the longest in Bhutan
- Chimi Lhakhang – Temple of Fertility, serene walk through farmlands
Drive back to Thimphu in the evening.

Day 04 – 25 Dec: Thimphu Sightseeing → Paro
Visit the most iconic places of Thimphu:
• Buddha Dordenma (Buddha Point) – giant statue with valley views

• Motithang Takin Preserve – meet the rare Bhutanese national animal

Perched 900m above the valley, the Tiger’s Nest Monastery is a place of deep spirituality and legendary significance — a must-visit!
