• Good to Know: Pre-arrange your airport pickup to avoid late-night taxi negotiations. The drive to Sanur from the airport is a short 20-30 minutes, making it an ideal first base after a long flight.

Day 2: 13 Sep | 11 Oct Epic Sunsets & Sacred Cliffs

 A day dedicated to the Bukit Peninsula’s most breathtaking coastal panoramas. Begin with the spiritual grandeur of Uluwatu Temple, perched dramatically atop a 70-meter cliff. Next, chase a more secluded vista at Karang Boma Cliff, an Instagram-famous sunset spot with an unobstructed edge view. The day crescendos at the sea-temple of Tanah Lot, watching the tide roll in, followed by a mesmerizing Kecak Fire Dance performance as dusk paints the sky.

• Good to Know: Monkeys at Uluwatu are notoriously clever; secure sunglasses, hats, and phones. Karang Boma is an unfenced cliff edge, so extreme caution is non-negotiable. Book Tanah Lot Kecak tickets with your driver to get good seats.

Day 3: 14 Sep | 12 Oct Penida’s Jurassic Dreamscapes

An early fast boat dash from Sanur Harbour unlocks the raw, untamed beauty of Nusa Penida. Stand inside the natural infinity frame of Rumah Pohon Treehouse (Rumphon Tree), soak in the panorama of turquoise waters from Thousand Island Viewpoint, and descend the pristine white stairs to the radiant Diamond Beach. Capture the iconic T-Rex shaped headland from the top of Kelingking Beach, before cruising back to Sanur and transferring directly to the cultural heart of Ubud.

• Good to Know: This is a long, stamina-testing day trip with a shared speedboat ride. Wear sturdy shoes, the stairs at Diamond and the walk to Rumah Pohon are steep. Store luggage in your driver’s car in Sanur to seamlessly head to Ubud upon return.

Day 4: 15 Sep | 13 Oct Eastern Bali’s Royal Waters & Volcanic Vista

An eastward journey from Ubud into the regency of Karangasem. Wander through the serene water gardens of Tirta Gangga Water Palace, a mosaic of lotus-filled ponds and stepping stones. The afternoon brings a hidden gem: Lahangan Sweet Viewpoint, where a rustic wooden frame perfectly captures the majestic Mount Agung volcano in the distance, offering an uncrowded alternative to the famous Gates of Heaven.

• Good to Know: Tirta Gangga has a koi fish feeding fee; mornings are less crowded. Lahangan Sweet requires a short drive up a bumpy road but rewards you with a panoramic, queue-free photo frame against Agung’s peak.

Day 5: 16 Sep | 14 Oct Summit Sunrise & Volcanic Soak

A 2:00 AM adventure starts in darkness as you ascend Mount Batur in a 4WD Jeep. Arrive at the sunrise viewpoint just as the sky ignites in hues of orange and pink over the caldera lake. Post-sunrise, descend to the natural hot springs by the lake’s edge, letting the geothermal, mineral-rich waters soothe your muscles against a backdrop of steaming volcanic rock.

• Good to Know: No strenuous trekking needed for the jeep tour, but a warm jacket is essential for the cold summit pre-dawn. Swimwear goes on under your clothes for a smooth transition to the hot springs. You’ll be back in Ubud by early afternoon with the rest of the day to relax or spa.

Day 6: 17 Sep | 15 Oct Twin Lakes, Jungle Swings & Night Markets

A scenic cool-climate drive to the Bedugul highlands. Stand in awe at Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, a floating masterpiece on a misty lake. Next, unleash your inner child at Alas Harum, an agro-tourism wonderland famous for its extreme swings, a sky bike over rice terraces, and the world’s first Luwak coffee statue. The evening winds down by diving into the sensory overload of the Ubud Art Market, a treasure trove of handcrafted goods, silk scarves, and bohemian decor.

• Good to Know: Arrive at Ulun Danu by 8:00 AM to beat the tour buses and thick morning mist. At Ubud Market, haggling is part of the culture; start at 50% of the quoted price. Alas Harum has a strict dress and safety code for its swings and sky bike.

Day 7: 18 Sep | 16 Oct A Taste of Bali Farewell

A slow, relaxed morning absorbing the last of Ubud’s emerald embrace. Sip a final Balinese coffee before your private transfer winds south, returning you to Denpasar Airport for your journey home.

• Good to Know: Factor a 1.5-hour minimum drive from Ubud to the airport, longer if your flight coincides with peak traffic. Ideal for a last-minute stop at a local coffee plantation if your flight is in the late afternoon.
